Suggested 7 Hour (Daily) Route

At the end of our driveway go east (right) on trail 8 & 31 (Thannum Fire Lane) for 1.8 miles to Junction 26.   This is where trail 8 and 31 split off with trail 31 heading off into the forest.  At Jct 26 turn right (southt) on trail 31 for 17 miles to Junction #60.  This is where trails 31 & 30 converge. 

If you need a break go east (left) on trail 30 to the LCO casino complex otherwise turn around and head back north on trail 31 for 8 miles to Junction 9B.  This is where trails 31 and 77 intersect.  Turn right (east) on trail 77 for 20 miles to Junction 38 (trails 8 & 77).   At Jct 38 turn east (right) on trail 8 for 11 miles to the junction of trails 70 and 8. There is a stop sign at this junction.  Go straight onto trail 70 for 1 mile to County Road M.  Turn right (east) on Cty M for 1 block.  The entrance to Lakewoods Resort #53 will be on your left (north side).    

Once you’re ready to head back, hop back on trail 70 for 1 mile until it intersects with trail 8 heading west.  Stay on trail 8 west for 22 miles all the way back to Runamuk Rides (#131).   Trail 8 will eventually turn back into Runamuk Rides at junction 25 after just over 19 miles from the trail 70/trail 8 junction.
