Suggested 4 Hour Route

Runamuk is # 131 on the

Sawyer County Snowmobile ATV Alliance (SCSAA) Trail Map

Situated in the upper left hand part of the map  

To begin your 4 hour excursion turn right (east) at the end of our driveway onto trail 8 (Thannum Fire Lane).  Continue for for 2.1 miles to junction 25.   This is where trail 8 splits off from Thannum Fire Lane and treks through the forest.  Turn left (north) at Jct 25 and take trail 8 east for 20 miles until it converges with trail 70.  There’s a stop sign at this intersection.  Continue straight onto trail 70 for another mile to County Road M.  Go right (east) on Cty Rd M for 1 block to arrive at the entrance to lakewoods Resort on your left (north) side of Cty M.

To return, head back on trail 70 for one mile until it intersects with trail 8 west at the stop sign.  Continue straight on to trail 8 west for another 11 miles to junction 38 (trails 8 and 77).  Turn left (south) on to trail 77 west for another 11 miles to junction 34.   This is where trail 77 meets trail 5 (Thannum Fire Lane).  Turn right (west) onto trail 5.  After 1.5 miles trail 5 becomes trail 8 west at Junction 25.  Continue west on trail 8 (a/k/a Thannum Fire Lane) for 2.1 miles back to Runamuk Rides.
